Trustworthiness in practice is a process which needs to be built. In my opinion it is being built with small things that lead to greater things, for example the handshake, arriving to meetings on time, paying for a coffee etc.
This smaller thibgs lead to greater – talking about “private” things like favourite travellig destination etc.
This greater things lead to even greater things, projects etc.
But in my opinion best friends are made in business, because it is a field in which the deepest trust is earned which later on builds up.
This is an interesting view. And I think you should discuss this deeper. I think that lots of older people might say they made their best friendships outside of business life with no hidden intentions etc. Please discuss this, it‘s a really fascinating thing.
